  • Exploration of Bou Sra Waterfall, Cambodia’s famous double-drop falls
  • Scenic panoramic views of Sen Monorom and the Sea Forests

Start your adventure with a warm welcome as you arrive at Mondulkiri Airport, where your local guide will escort you to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, embark on a short 25-minute drive through the picturesque valley, where you’ll begin your walk into the heart of the Bunong Elephant Project. Here, you’ll gain deep insights into the history, behaviors, and relationships of the elephants with their mahouts (traditional caretakers).

Get up close as you feed the elephants buckets of bananas, learning about their rehabilitation journey. As the elephants roam freely through the jungle, you’ll follow alongside, observing their natural habits as they graze on bamboo and grass. With an appetite of up to 100 kg of vegetation per day, they must graze to sustain their strength.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle by a serene river, surrounded by the sounds of nature. In the afternoon, dive into an unforgettable experience as you help bathe the elephants in the river. Swim alongside them, feeling the connection and magic of these gentle giants. As the day winds down, say goodbye to the elephants before hiking up a scenic hill, where a short drive will return you to Sen Monorom for breathtaking panoramic views of the Sea Forests.

Begin the day with a drive east towards Bou Sra Waterfall, the largest and most renowned waterfall in Cambodia. Along the way, visit a Pnong minority village where you’ll discover the rich traditions and daily life of the local community, gaining a deeper appreciation of their unique culture.

At Bou Sra Waterfall, take a refreshing dip in the cool waters or simply marvel at the beauty of the double-drop cascade. Next, visit a local coffee grower to sample some of Cambodia’s finest coffee. Continue the journey with lunch at the tranquil O’ramis resort and a visit to a mini-museum showcasing indigenous artifacts, including gemstones and traditional hunting tools.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive through the stunning landscapes of Sen Monorom, with sweeping views of the Sea Forests. Climb to a hilltop pagoda for a bird’s-eye view, a perfect spot for photos to capture the memories of this adventure.
