Constructed in the second half of the 7th century (627-707 AD) during the reign of King Jayavarman I, Prasat Andet was dedicated to the god Hirihara. Built in the Kampong Preah style, the temple is composed of brick, masonry, laterite, and sandstone. It features an isolated plan on a 5.30-meter-high artificial hill and is rectangular, measuring 7.50 meters in length and 5.50 meters in width, with walls 1 meter thick. The temple faces east, and its lintels are intricately carved with garlands, showcasing traditional Khmer artistry.
