Morning Hotel Pickup: Begin your journey with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap and head toward Battambang.
Bamboo Train Ride: Kick off the day with a thrilling ride on Battambang’s iconic Bamboo Train. This local mode of transport offers a unique way to experience the countryside, as you glide through rice paddies and rural landscapes.
Village Life Exploration: After the train ride, travel through picturesque villages where you can observe local industries and Cambodian rural life up close.
Wat Ek Phnom: Next, visit Wat Ek Phnom, an 11th-century temple ruin that offers a glimpse into the ancient history of the region.
Lunch in Wat Kor Village: Enjoy a delicious lunch in Wat Kor village. Afterward, explore one of its 100-year-old traditional Khmer wooden houses, preserved for generations.
Phnom Sampeau and the Killing Caves: In the afternoon, head to Phnom Sampeau, a hilltop temple with panoramic views. Along the way, stop at the Killing Caves to honor the memory of those who perished during the Khmer Rouge regime.

Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone. Nareth planned an excellent and first-rate multi-day visit for us in Siem Riep. She is a great organizer, pays attention to the details and is helpful and flexible. Amongst the multitude of choices, she seems to know the best attractions and restaurants. From Khmer shows to the circus to artist workshops - she selects informative and high quality venues.
