Itinerary

This 14-day journey is tailored for school groups seeking to explore Cambodia’s history, culture, and natural beauty while making a meaningful impact through volunteering. Over the course of 5 days, students will help build a house with Volunteer Building Cambodia (VBC), complemented by guided meditation, cultural performances, trekking at Kulen Mountain, and interactive workshops. Activities are designed to foster teamwork, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding while keeping students engaged.

Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap – Orientation and Welcome Dinner

Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport and warm welcome by your tour leader.
Transfer to your hotel and settle in.
Evening: Orientation session introducing Cambodian culture, tour overview, and house-building project.
Enjoy a group welcome dinner featuring traditional Khmer cuisine and entertainment.

Day 2: Angkor Temples Exploration

Morning: Start the day at Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most iconic temple. Learn about its fascinating history and architectural marvels.

Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone. Nareth planned an excellent and first-rate multi-day visit for us in Siem Riep. She is a great organizer, pays attention to the details and is helpful and flexible. Amongst the multitude of choices, she seems to know the best attractions and restaurants. From Khmer shows to the circus to artist workshops - she selects informative and high quality venues.
