MORNING

8:30 AM Departure: Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Banlung City. After a one-hour journey by motorbike or car heading north, arrive at the Sesan River.
Embark on a 50-minute boat ride, taking in the stunning river views and lush surroundings as you go to Koh Peak village, home to the Kachok minority.
Arrive at Koh Peak and begin your trek through the village, exploring their traditional lifestyle, ancient cemetery, and the surrounding landscapes. The cemetery offers fascinating insights into the Kachok people’s burial traditions and cultural heritage.

Lunch Break:
Enjoy a packed lunch or a local meal in the peaceful village, where you can interact with the local community.

AFTERNOON

Continue trekking back to the riverbank, where you’ll take the boat downstream.
On the way back, stop at Phum Koun village, inhabited by the Kreng minority, a different indigenous tribe—Trek through the village, learning about their customs and daily life.
After spending time in Phum Koun, return by boat to the starting point and drive back to Banlung City, arriving around 4:00-5:00 PM.

Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone. Nareth planned an excellent and first-rate multi-day visit for us in Siem Riep. She is a great organizer, pays attention to the details and is helpful and flexible. Amongst the multitude of choices, she seems to know the best attractions and restaurants. From Khmer shows to the circus to artist workshops - she selects informative and high quality venues.
