Your adventure begins as our escort guide and driver meet you at your hotel. After purchasing your Phnom Kulen ticket, we’ll drive out of Siem Reap, leaving the bustling city behind.
Scenic Journey to Phnom Kulen
Enjoy picturesque views of rice paddies and charming countryside, dotted with palm trees and livestock. We’ll make a brief stop at Preah Dak market, where you can observe the daily lives of locals selling fresh produce and meats.
Exploration of Phnom Kulen
Upon arriving at Phnom Kulen, embark on a walking tour to see the magnificent giant reclining Buddha statue atop the hill, accompanied by stunning panoramic views. Your knowledgeable guide will share insights about the historical significance of this sacred site.
River of a Thousand Lingas
Continue your hike through the lush jungle to witness the fascinating carvings of 1,000 lingas along the riverbed, symbolizing fertility and Hindu beliefs. Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone.
