MORNING - TREKKING

8:30 AM Departure: We begin our adventure by departing from Banlung city via motorbike, tuk-tuk, or car and heading towards Kachohn village, located near the Sesan River.
Upon arrival at Kachohn village, we’ll switch to a small boat for a 1-hour scenic cruise along the river. Relax and enjoy the stunning views of the riverside villages and peaceful landscape.

MID-MORNING - TREKKING

Arriving at the edge of the jungle, we’ll meet our expert jungle ranger, who will guide us through the dense forest.
The trek will be moderately challenging, as we hike for 3 hours through the jungle, encountering lush vegetation and wildlife, leading to the breathtaking 40-meter-high waterfall.
Here, we’ll take a break for lunch and enjoy a refreshing swim in the waterfall’s cool waters.

AFTRENOON-TREKKING

After a rejuvenating rest, we will trek back, completing a loop trail to return to the same boat that brought us to the jungle. Along the way, take in the different perspectives of the forest and the natural beauty around you.
Before heading back to Banlung, we will stop at Kospeak village, home to the Kachok hill tribe. Our English-speaking guide will explain the rich history and traditions of the tribe, including a visit to their ancient cemetery, a significant cultural site for the community.
We will then head back to Banlung, arriving around 5:00 PM, completing your day of adventure and cultural immersion.

Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone.
