Visit Kachan Waterfall, Katieng Waterfall, and Chaong Waterfall

MORNING

8:30 AM Departure: Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Banlung city, where you’ll set off on a journey to explore Ratanakiri’s most beautiful natural attractions.
Visit Kachan Waterfall, known for its serene surroundings and lush greenery. You’ll have time to take photos and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.
Continue to Katieng Waterfall, where the cascading waters create a perfect spot for relaxation and immersion in nature.
Explore Chaong Waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in the forest, ideal for trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Lunch Break:
Enjoy lunch at the picturesque Beng Yak Loum, a pristine volcanic lake with calm, clear water perfect for a refreshing break.

AFTERNOON

After lunch, spend some time trekking around the lake, taking in the beautiful natural surroundings and perhaps enjoying a swim in its cool waters.
Visit the Tampon minority village to learn about the lifestyle and culture of this indigenous community, offering a unique cultural experience as you interact with local villagers.
End the day with a drive to the mountain panoramic viewpoint, where you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, perfect for photography and a peaceful end to your adventure.

Return:
After soaking in the breathtaking views, we’ll return to Banlung city around 4:30-5:00 PM.

Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone. Nareth planned an excellent and first-rate multi-day visit for us in Siem Riep. She is a great organizer, pays attention to the details and is helpful and flexible. Amongst the multitude of choices, she seems to know the best attractions and restaurants. From Khmer shows to the circus to artist workshops - she selects informative and high quality venues.
