MORNING

8:30 AM Departure: Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Banlung. We’ll drive towards the Vietnam border, where your first stop is at a local gem mining area. Here, you’ll get a glimpse into the hard work and skills of the miners who extract precious stones.
Along the way, we’ll visit sprawling cashew and pepper plantations, giving you insight into the region’s agriculture and the farming methods used by local communities.

MID-DAY

After exploring the gem mines and farms, continue to the stunning Seven Steps Waterfall, a secluded natural wonder perfect for swimming and relaxing in the cool waters. Spend time here enjoying the surroundings and taking photos of the multi-layered waterfall.

Lunch Break:
We’ll pause for lunch at a local spot near the waterfall, allowing you to rest and take in the serene environment.

AFTERNOON

After lunch, we’ll head towards a local minority village. Here, you’ll have the chance to witness a unique cultural tradition: the group showers from bamboo pipes, where men and women bathe separately in natural streams. This custom is an essential part of their daily life and reflects their deep connection to nature.
Spend time learning about their traditions, daily routines, and way of life as you explore the village and interact with the local community.

Return:
We’ll return to Banlung City around 4:30-5:00 PM, with plenty of memories and experiences from a day immersed in both nature and culture.

Nareth and her team are fantastic! We were there to build houses in the morning and they developed a custom afternoon itinerary that really helped us maximize our time in the area. They were all personable, easy to work with, responsive and flexible. Our guide Happy gave interesting insights into the local culture. The restaurant picks were spot on and showed the variety of local cuisine. The various sights we visited showed an interesting and diverse range of culture with something for everyone.
